This is the upper of two fuel and vehicle-service stops in Yellowstone's Old Faithful developed area, separate from the lower station farther west. It is a useful practical stop for fuel, supplies or unexpected car trouble, rather than a destination to set aside extra sightseeing time for.
The self-service pumps offer unleaded and diesel fuel and take credit cards. They're listed as available around the clock, year-round. The store carries snacks, drinks and ice; propane is sold here and cylinders can be exchanged.
