A blink-and-you’ll-miss-it pullout right off Highway 1, Faeder Lake Day Use Area is a mellow place to exhale between bigger Yoho sights. The compact, emerald-tinted lake sits beside a tiny parking loop with picnic tables and basic outhouse toilets. It’s not a destination day, but it’s a lovely reset.

Getting There
