Hiking Man o’ War Brook Trail
A wooded connector, not a loopMan o’ War Brook Trail is a 0.
Man o’ War Brook Trail is a 0.9-mile one-way connector from the Acadia Mountain trailhead on ME 102 to the junction for the Acadia and Saint Sauveur mountain trails. Allow about 30 minutes one way. It’s the easy, shaded link used as the gentler return leg of the Acadia Mountain loop. If you’re walking only this segment, turn around at the junction for about 1.8 miles round trip.

The broad gravel path runs through large hemlocks and white pines. The grade is mostly level, with roots and dips underfoot. Toward the far end it narrows and descends a partly eroded slope to the mountain-trail junction. This is an easy approach into the adjoining network, not a summit walk; the steep ledges and summit views belong to those other trails.
