Guide
Nauset Beach Inn is a four-acre hotel in Orleans, a short walk from Nauset Beach. It is the only hotel within Cape Cod National Seashore, and the draw is an Atlantic-facing stay with the sound of surf and sunrise views. Treat it as an overnight base, not a public beach facility.
Guests can arrive early, park at the inn, and head to the beach while their room is being prepared. The grassy grounds have outdoor seating and fire pits, a comfortable place to settle after the beach.
Rooms include a private bath, fireplace, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and Wi-Fi. No restaurant or breakfast offering is listed, so plan meals separately. Wi-Fi can be spotty and room upkeep has been uneven. Ask ahead for a pet-friendly room; only a limited number allow pets.
