The Mazama Village Store stocks camping supplies, groceries, and firewood, and the gas pumps operate seasonally (generally mid-May to mid-October, with pay-at-the-pump into mid-October). There’s also the Annie Creek Restaurant & Gift Shop, plus the large, seasonal Mazama Village Campground (typically mid-June to late September/early October, weather permitting).

This isn’t a wildlife destination, but the surrounding forest occasionally turns up deer, squirrels, and a variety of birds. Consider any sightings a bonus as you make your way to the rim.
