Trail guide
This is a 1.6-mile out-and-back from Munson Valley Road to the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) junction, with a short side trip to Annie Spring. Follow the mapped path north to the junction, then return the same way. A published 0.75-mile figure does not state whether it is one way or round trip; the mapped spring-side corridor is about 0.8 mile one way, so this description treats it as the outward leg. The longer continuation toward Mazama is outside this route.
The short side path reaches Annie Spring, where water emerges beneath the forest and feeds Annie Creek. You can turn around after visiting the spring for a shorter outing, or continue north to the PCT junction before heading back.
The dirt path climbs about 300 feet from the road to the PCT junction through forest. Allow about an hour for the full return with a brief stop at the spring. Leashed, controlled pets are allowed on the designated spur. A roadside pullout is reported near the bend before the bridge on Munson Valley Road, but the exact designated parking point has not been confirmed.
