Guide
This seven-site RV campground sits on Echo Lake’s north shore beside Echo Lake Beach. It’s a handy overnight base for Franconia Notch if lake access matters more than a quiet, wooded campground feel; the sites line the edge of the beach parking area.
Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Only RV sites 1–7 are for overnight camping, and RVs must be self-contained. Plan on reserving a numbered site; off-season walk-ins are first-come, if space is available. Confirm water and sewer service for your dates, especially outside the main season.
The spaces are tight, and beach day-use traffic can be nearby when the lot is busy. Pets aren’t allowed. Restrooms at the beach are seasonal and aren’t guaranteed year-round; there are no showers there. When the Lakeside General Store isn’t staffed, campers need to carry out their trash.
