The campground has a kitchen shelter, flush toilets, showers, Wi-Fi, a kiosk, a dumping station and an off-leash dog park. The kitchen shelter is the main shared place to prepare meals. During the self-registration off-season, water is shut off and a pit toilet replaces the flush toilets, while the shelter stays open. Service dates can shift, so check the current operating information before heading out.

“You're approaching Green Point; the geological site is a separate stop about 500 metres north of the campground. The sharply tilted beds here began as ocean-floor sediment nearly 500 million years ago.”

Green Point is a 33-site drive-in campground on the coast, about 12 km north of Rocky Harbour along Route 430. Some campsites are forested and others look toward the ocean, with a path down to the cobble beach. Wind-shaped, stunted trees known locally as tuckamore grow along the coast. It suits campers who want the water close at hand and a place to settle between exploring the park's coastal stops.

The campground has 8 serviced sites with water and electricity, 23 unserviced sites, and two oTENTiks. Every site has a fire pit. The choice is between a more open outlook and tree cover: ocean-facing sites are more exposed when coastal weather turns windy, while wooded pitches offer some shelter.

Walk the shorelineThe campground's cobble beach gives campers direct access to the water.

The campground's cobble beach gives campers direct access to the water. About 500 m north, Green Point Geological Site is a separate stop, not part of the campground. Its fossil-bearing rock layers record an ancient ocean floor nearly 500 million years old and mark the Cambrian–Ordovician boundary, a geological benchmark. Go at low tide for a closer look along the shore; stay back from the cliff edge and watch for falling rocks.
