Guide
Interlakes is a drive-in campground for tents and RVs on Lower Kananaskis Lake. It suits campers who want lake access and a base for nearby trails, but the sites are unserviced. Some sit close to the water; others are across the campground road.
The campground road runs one way between separate entrance and exit points. The current campground map marks sites 2–6 as first-come and sites 8–48 as reservable, so check the site map before planning around a walk-up spot.
The campground has firepits, pit toilets, secure food storage and a hand launch. Its hand pump is for extinguishing fires only; the water is unsafe for drinking or other uses. Bring your own drinking water and use the secure storage for food.
The hand launch gives you access for canoeing, boating and fishing. Nearby hiking, mountain-biking and paved trail options make this a useful base for more than a night beside the water.
