A relaxed, scenic 2 km (1.2 mile) loop from Queenstown Bay Beach through Te Kararo Queenstown Gardens and around the garden peninsula. The flat, easy route combines broad paved, gravel, and compacted paths with Lake Wakatipu views, mature trees, lawns, flower gardens, and benches.

Start and finish at Queenstown Bay Beach. Follow the Te Araroa/Queenstown Trail into the gardens, continue around the peninsula on the lakeside paths, and return to the beach.
