Trail guide
From Mirador Laguna Larga, this 2.16-mile (3.48-km) one-way walk connects the Y-156 viewpoint with Mirador Nordenskjöld on Y-150. Explora describes it as easy and lists about 1½ hours; allow extra time for stops and point-to-point transport. The park map marks this corridor as guided or restricted use, so confirm access and a far-end pickup with an authorized operator before setting out. Published descriptions give 3 miles round trip and a separate 4.8-km figure without a clear matching route convention; the distance here follows the mapped point-to-point corridor and a track recorded between these viewpoints.
Start at the Laguna Larga viewpoint beside Y-156, then follow the short road connection to the ground path heading southwest. The path reaches the Nordenskjöld viewpoint by Y-150. Stay on the marked line and arrange transport between the two ends; the Swan Lake loop and the Lazo–Weber area are separate outings, not extensions of this route.
A visitor description of the lagoon calls attention to stromatolite formations. Their age and origin are not established by the sources checked here, so treat them as a feature to observe rather than a dated geological claim.
From the Nordenskjöld lookout, the panorama takes in the lake and the Paine massif, including Paine Grande, Los Cuernos and Almirante Nieto, with the Francés and Bader valleys. A wide frame with the water below the peaks captures the defining view.
