Scottish Rocks is a roughly 200-metre beach near Green Patch, with rock platforms along its waterline. Keep it in your plans if you want to snorkel or explore shallow pools; it’s a simple walk-in beach. A small parking area sits by the access track, followed by a short walk through coastal bush to the sand. It isn’t set up for visitors who need an accessible approach.
The rock platforms are the main draw for snorkelling. Just offshore, you may see colourful fish, sea dragons, sea stars, turtles and stingrays. Move slowly and give the wildlife room. None of Booderee’s beaches are lifeguard-supervised, and water conditions vary, so keep children under close supervision and use caution around the water.
The beach is about 200 metres long, and rock formations continue along the water’s edge toward Hole in the Wall. Shallow pools can hold small fish and crabs. For a phone photo, frame one of the low rock ledges in the foreground, with pale sand leading your eye toward the wooded shoreline and open bay.
