Wall Street

Wall Street is the steep, narrow-walled side of Navajo Loop, dropping from Sunset Point into Bryce Amphitheater. The trail passes between high limestone walls and towering Douglas-firs, changing the loop’s broad hoodoo views into a close-in walk through the formations. Reach it on foot as part of the hike.

The route winds through repeated, steep switchbacks with uneven footing. Visitors often find the climb demanding, so bring water and sturdy shoes and leave time for the way back up. Wall Street typically closes in winter; the Two Bridges side of Navajo Loop stays open year-round.

Inside the passage, the walls rise close around the path, with Douglas-firs among the rock. The view from the rim shows the wider hoodoo amphitheater; the trail gives you the close-up scale. For a photo, include the path as it bends between the walls, and leave room for a fir or hoodoo to show how tall the passage feels.
