Oakwood Caravan & Camping Park

Oakwood Caravan & Camping Park is a private campsite at Granish Farm, just outside Aviemore. It has touring pitches for caravans and motorhomes, separate grass tent pitches, plus glamping pods and a four-bedroom cottage. The pitches sit among oak trees, with the Cairngorms behind them, so the setting feels more wooded than an open field.

There are hardstanding and grass pitches, with electric hookups for touring pitches and seven tent pitches. Tent ground can be hard and rocky, so rock pegs may be useful. Heated toilets and showers, laundry, water points, an outdoor dishwashing area, and motorhome service and disposal points cover the practical side of a longer stay. There’s also a play area and an outdoor table-tennis table. Dogs are welcome, with a two-dog-per-pitch limit and a lead or tether rule on site.

A food van called The Burger Box is based by reception, though no steady menu or signature dish is published. Aviemore is walkable by the Orbital foot and cycle path, crossing the B9152. The operator estimates about 30 minutes; several recent campers say closer to 20, so allow roughly 20–30 minutes.
