Guide
Rothiemurchus Camp and Caravan Park is a tent and touring campsite set among ancient Caledonian pine forest east of Inverdruie, close to Aviemore. It suits a stay where woodland walks are part of the plan. The Rothiemurchus Centre is a separate estate facility about a ten-minute stroll away.
Tents, caravans, motorhomes and campervans are welcome, and touring pitches have electric hookups. Campers have toilets, showers, drinking water, a heated amenity building, dishwashing and laundry. The individual shower and toilet rooms are a particular plus for how clean they’re kept.
Woodland paths nearby lead toward a loch, and Rothiemurchus promotes a Beaver Trail for walking or cycling. It’s a good base for exploring under the pines; beaver sightings are a possibility, not something to count on.
