Trail guide
This is a very short out-and-back to the viewing area below Lower Pattack Falls, where the River Pattack drops through a wooded rocky gorge. Allow about 15 minutes for roughly 0.12 mile round trip from Druim an Aird car park. It makes a good leg-stretch on the A86. If you want a longer walk, the separate Falls of Pattack route goes farther through the gorge and woodland for about five miles.
The route starts on a firm gravel path with a gentle slope, then uses a short set of steps and a narrower compacted path to reach the viewing area. The walk is easy, but the rocks near the water can be slippery when wet. The cascade is close; from the formed path, its view can be partly screened by vegetation, so the sound and woodland setting may be as much of the stop as the view.
Start at Druim an Aird car park at Feagour, just off the A86. The lot is small, with limited space. Dogs are welcome in the woods; keep them under control, or on a lead near wildlife or livestock. The café and toilets at Laggan Wolftrax are a separate, seasonal stop.
