Gros Morne Crafts is a small handmade-goods shop at 111 Main Street North in Rocky Harbour; the place name also includes its separate Oceanside Cottage rental. Look for pottery, bone carvings, knitted goods, mummers, books, paintings, stained glass and folk art. It makes a good browse if you want a keepsake by local makers rather than a generic park souvenir. The shop opened in 1971, when it was among Newfoundland's early craft shops.
This is a small retail visit with work in several media, but there is no need to budget a large block of the day. Keep it in your plan if shopping for local handcrafts is part of the fun; skip it if you are focused on trails or scenery.
The Oceanside Cottage is a one-bedroom rental described as oceanfront, with a raised balcony and a short path to a beach. Treat those as guest features; public access for shop visitors is not established. The shop runs seasonally, generally from late spring into fall, so plan it as a seasonal stop rather than assuming it will be open year-round.
