The Red Flower on the Ground“If wildflowers are out, look low for Sturt's desert pea. It sprawls across the ground rather than standing tall, with red flowers around a dark central boss.”

Guide
Cambrian Campground is a 13-site, unpowered campground at the northern end of Bunyeroo Road, between the Heysen and ABC Ranges. All 13 sites are allocated and unpowered, making this a straightforward bush-camp stop.
Native pines and river red gums grow along the creek line. A long-drop toilet and water tank sit at the toilet block. The park doesn't guarantee the tank's water quality or supply, so don't count on it as your only dependable water. Firepits are provided, subject to seasonal fire restrictions.
