The Wilpena Solar Power Station Walk is an easy out-and-back of about 0.63 mile (1.0 km) round trip, from the Solar Power Station car park to a lookout over the panel array that supplies Wilpena. It’s a quick, unusual stop if you’re curious how this remote place gets power; the installation is the whole point, rather than a long bushwalk. Allow about 30 minutes to reach the view and have a look.
