Tucked inside the lower level of the Columbia Icefield Discovery Centre, Glacier Gallery is the park’s glacier‑focused exhibit—perfect for getting the why behind the wow you see outside. It’s concise, engaging, and right where you’re likely stopping anyway along the Icefields Parkway.

Wildlife

The exhibit is indoors, but the surrounding Icefields Parkway corridor often produces sightings of mountain goats, bighorn sheep, marmots, and occasionally bears—keep your eyes open on the drive and nearby pullouts.
