About Pine Bungalows

A classic Jasper stay since 1936, Pine Bungalows is a spread of rustic‑modern cabins and lodge rooms tucked into the forest right on the Athabasca River, a couple minutes’ drive from town. It’s intentionally unplugged—no TVs or phones, and WiFi is limited—so the payoff is crackling campfires, starry skies, and the sound of the river.

Operations are seasonal: lodge/chalets open around April 1, with cabins opening by May 1 (earlier if weather cooperates). There’s a two‑night minimum stay. Summer and fall book out fast—reserve well ahead, especially for riverfront units.

Cabins & amenities

Cabins range from cozy hideaways to family setups (some sleep up to six). Expect gas fireplaces, private bathrooms (some with heated floors), and options with kitchenettes or full kitchens. Most units have picnic tables and outdoor seating. Note: there are no TVs or in‑cabin phones, and WiFi is not provided in cabins (reports point to access only in lodge/public areas, if at all).
