Belle is a small, peaceful, first-come campground tucked among giant granite boulders and Joshua trees. It’s the “simple is better” option: scenic, quiet, and dark at night—perfect for stargazing and sunrise/sunset lovers. Expect a high-desert feel with cooler nights and big skies.

Getting a Site
Belle is first-come, first-served and small, so it fills quickly—especially on weekends and during peak weather. There’s a self-registration kiosk and a fee to camp. Arrive earlier in the day for your best shot. Some sites can fit smaller RVs/trailers, but not all—scout before committing if you have a rig.
Wildlife
Around camp you’re likely to see (and hear) desert regulars: lizards, birds, small mammals, and occasional coyotes calling at night. Keep food secure and give any wildlife plenty of space.
