Meeting of the Waters is a named lakeside viewpoint in Killarney's Dinis area, where the Upper Lake, Muckross Lake and Lough Leane come together. It's a distinct stop from Old Weir Bridge and Dinis Cottage, both nearby. The draw is the joined water framed by green hills; if you're already exploring Dinis, it's a worthwhile pause by the shore.
Dinis Cottage and Old Weir Bridge are nearby and commonly paired with the confluence, but they're separate sights. Leave time to walk the shore and see the other landmarks if you're doing this side of the park.
The rocky outflow divides around a small tree-covered island, with low ledges and the hills beyond. For a photo, frame the split channels with the island and the green slopes; a tight crop of water loses what makes this spot the Meeting of the Waters.
