Sailing Lake Clark is a sailing trip and overnight stay aboard Odyssey, a 50-foot Voyage 500 catamaran. It has three queen cabins, each with its own bathroom, for up to six guests, plus a separate day head. Cabin bookings may share the boat; families can book a private charter. This is a trip to plan as the main event, not a walk-up shore lodge.
Getting aboardMost guests fly from Anchorage to Port Alsworth; there’s no road connection from Anchorage.
Most guests fly from Anchorage to Port Alsworth; there’s no road connection from Anchorage. The crew meets arriving guests at the airplane and takes them to a beach to board. Coordinate your flight and meeting details with the operator before you travel. You’ll be met at the airstrip, then transferred to the boat.
What comes with the tripYou can book a day or evening sail or stay aboard for several nights.
You can book a day or evening sail or stay aboard for several nights. Overnight trips include meals, snacks, nonalcoholic drinks and guided shore outings; kayaks, paddleboards and fishing gear are available on board. The captain adjusts the route and activities to wind, weather and guest interests, so a hike, fishing stop or beach visit is a possibility, not a fixed schedule. The draw is seeing the lake and mountains from the water, with a small guest group and crew handling the sailing.

Odyssey was built in South Africa in 2009 and spent its first years in the Caribbean before traveling north by way of Panama and Hawaii. That ocean-going history fits a trip where the lake itself, and the places you can reach by boat, are the point.
