Silver Salmon Creek: Sedge meadow and ORV restrictions
Stay out of the Silver Salmon Creek sedge meadow and use only approved ORV corridors. - The meadow between the Sargent Creek confluence and Silver Salmon Creek is closed to human entry June 15–September 15 for habitat restoration; stay on the established foot path. - The beach is the only corridor formally approved for general-public ORV use. Trails highlighted in pink on the map require a National Park Service special use permit. - Park ORVs at the end of the beach trail adjacent to the creek crossing and access the creek on foot; riding up to or along the creek is disruptive to bears and other visitors. Check current Silver Salmon Creek conditions before traveling.
