Guide
Staircase Entrance Station is the fee booth at the entrance to Olympic National Park's Staircase developed area near Lake Cushman. Stop here to buy an entrance pass or get information before continuing toward the campground and Staircase Rapids Loop. It's a practical arrival stop, not a sightseeing destination.
The route in is gravel Forest Service Road 24, which follows Lake Cushman. The campground, ranger station and Rapids Loop are separate stops in the developed area beyond the entrance booth; this isn't the trailhead.
