When it runs seasonally, the National Park Service Hiker Shuttle boards outside and takes passengers to the Park & Ride on Bear Lake Road. The ride takes about 45 minutes to an hour each way, depending on traffic. From Park & Ride, transfer to the free Bear Lake or Moraine Park shuttles for destinations including Sprague Lake, Glacier Gorge and Bear Lake. If you're staying in town and want to leave the car behind, this is a useful way to start a park day. Check current service dates and ticket rules before you plan around it.
