Guide
Grand Lake Entrance is Rocky Mountain National Park’s staffed western entrance and the entrance closest to the town of Grand Lake. It’s a practical arrival point, not an attraction to tour; use it when you’re approaching the park from the Grand Lake side.
A valid entrance fee or park pass is required to enter the park, and staffed entrance stations sell passes. If you already have valid entry, keep it ready for the booth; otherwise, this is where you can buy it.
The station gets you onto the park’s west-side roads. Plan your visit around the places beyond the gate; Grand Lake Entrance is best thought of as the start of the park visit, not a destination that needs extra time.
