Mineral King Road is steep, winding, and extremely narrow, with unpaved sections; RVs and trailers aren’t recommended. Access is seasonal: the road closes for winter snow and generally reopens in late spring. Marmots may chew vehicle hoses and wiring, especially before August, so check around your vehicle when you return.
