Jordan Pond Road Bridge is a granite-faced concrete bridge where Seal Harbor Road crosses above the Day Mountain Carriage Road. You pass beneath its arch on the carriage road, about a tenth of a mile east of Stanley Brook Bridge. It's a brief architectural pause if you're already walking, biking, or riding this auto-free route, rather than a drive-up destination.

Built in 1932, the bridge is 85 feet long, and its segmental arch spans 26 feet 8 inches. Quarry-faced granite covers the concrete, including the underside of the arch. The parapet capstones alternate between vertical and horizontal blocks, a small detail that's easy to miss as you pass underneath.

The bridge carries the public road over the carriage road to create more separation and a quieter passage below. It's one of 17 bridges built along the island's carriage-road network. Landscape architect Beatrix Farrand also recommended plantings for the banks, including pines, mountain ash, sumac, and roses; those were historic recommendations, not a list of plants confirmed here today.
