Panorama Point is a roadside overlook at the top of a hill in Arches, with wide views of the La Sal Mountains, Fiery Furnace and Devils Garden. You can take them in from your vehicle or from viewpoints along the parking area, so there is no hike to reach the main view. It is an easy scenic-drive stop by day and a purpose-built place to look at the sky after dark.

The view opens over a broad stretch of scrub and red rock rather than one single arch. From the overlook, include some of the pale sandstone slabs in the foreground to give the wide horizon a sense of scale. For a closer composition, the narrow fins of Fiery Furnace make a more defined subject.

The project broke ground in 2018; the high, open site sits far enough from Moab to reduce the town's light and give visitors a wide view of the sky. Cars still enter and circle the lot, though, and some visitors say their headlights interrupt dark adaptation. It is a convenient place to stargaze, but not always a quiet one.
