Guide
Cliff View Lookout is a viewpoint on Prince Henry Cliff Walk, just below the eastern Scenic Skyway station. It looks up Kedumba Valley, making it a worthwhile short detour in the Katoomba Falls area if you want a broad valley view without taking on the full cliff walk.
From Katoomba Falls Park on Cliff Drive, allow about 30 minutes for the 600 m return walk. The route climbs gently and passes beneath the Skyway just below its eastern station. The lookout has handrails and fencing.
The view opens up Kedumba Valley, with the nearby Skyway giving this lookout its distinctive Katoomba setting. This is a different stop from Echo Point, the viewpoint for the Three Sisters.
Cliff View is one stop on the 7 km, one-way Grade 3 Prince Henry Cliff Walk between Katoomba Cascades and Gordon Falls near Leura. The full route links more than 20 lookouts and three waterfalls. Along it, hanging swamps hold sedges, rushes and grasses; yellow and gold Christmas bells may flower in summer.
