Eagle Hawk Lookout is a small roadside viewpoint on Cliff Drive in Katoomba, known for a broad, distant view across Jamison Valley to the Three Sisters. Keep it as a quick extra stop if you want another valley view; visitors often describe it as calmer than Echo Point, though each visit can feel different.
Parking is limited, and reports disagree about how you reach the viewpoint from the road. The path details aren’t well documented, so don’t assume step-free access. If the roadside parking feels cramped, keep driving rather than counting on an easy stop. A few visitors have found muddy ground after rain.
The Three Sisters are the main draw, with Scenic World’s ropeway visible below from some angles. This is a more distant view than Echo Point. Some visitors recommend late-afternoon light; for a photo, frame the Sisters against the valley so the wide escarpment stays part of the scene.
