Hiking Linn Cove Viaduct Access Trail
The short walkThis is a 0.
This is a 0.2-mile round-trip out-and-back from the Linn Cove Visitor Center to a paved stretch of the Tanawha Trail beneath the viaduct. Allow about 15 minutes for the walk and a look around. The saved line covers the one-way access corridor; Tanawha continues beyond it as a much longer hike.

Start at the visitor-center parking lot. This short access segment is paved and mapped as wheelchair accessible; stay on the designated path, since the viaduct roadway itself is not a walking route. For a simple photo, frame the curving spans from below and include a person for scale. Dogs are allowed on Parkway trails on a leash no longer than six feet.
