Rocky Knob Picnic Loop Trail is an easy, yellow-blazed loop of about 1.3 miles through the mature hardwood forest surrounding the Rocky Knob Picnic Area on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The natural-surface path passes large oaks, ashes, hickories, Fraser magnolias, hemlocks, and other native trees and shrubs, with a mostly gentle profile and some roots and rocks underfoot.
