Guide
Kittys Point is a rocky headland on Booderee’s St Georges Headland circuit, reached by a short marked side path. The cliffs and rocky outcrops here rise straight from the ocean. From Steamers Beach car park, the Circuit Trail is an 11.4 km loop; allow about four hours for its main sites. Save Kittys Point for a proper walk day, not a quick pull-over.
The full Circuit Trail is grade 3, and the Kittys Point spur has no separate distance or time listed. Plan around the circuit, stay on marked tracks, and bring food and water for the walk. Kittys Point is the rocky headland; nearby Kittys Beach is a separate sandy cove.
The payoff is the rough cliff edge and offshore outcrops against open water. For a photo, keep a piece of the rocky foreground in frame so the outcrops don’t flatten into the sea.
