Frisco Campground is an ocean-side campground near the village of Frisco, set among sand dunes and dense shrub thicket. It’s best for a beach-focused stay: a wooden boardwalk crosses the dunes from camp to the Atlantic beach. Choose it for that access, not for shade or a full-service RV setup.

What a site includesEach site has a paved parking pad, picnic table and charcoal grill.

Each site has a paved parking pad, picnic table and charcoal grill. Tent, trailer and RV sites are available, but there are no RV hookups. The ground is sandy and open, with no shade trees; longer tent stakes help in the loose soil. Mosquitoes can be a nuisance, too.

Advance reservations are recommended. From Memorial Day through Labor Day, stays are limited to 14 days. Wood fires aren’t allowed; use charcoal in a grill or other self-contained unit.
