Beach access, with a catch
Beachcamp paths lead to Myall Beach, but the water is for looking, not swimming: saltwater crocodiles and jellyfish make the beach unsafe for a swim. The campground points visitors to Masons Swimming Hole for a safer freshwater dip. To reach Cape Tribulation from the south, cross the Daintree River on the cable ferry; the road north is mostly sealed and ordinary 2WD cars can make it. Pets are not allowed, apart from service animals.
