Dubuji Myall Beach Track is a short out-and-back from the Dubuji day-use car park to Myall Beach: 370 m each way, 740 m return, about 20 minutes. It is a Grade 1 track and the direct beach route, separate from the longer boardwalk circuit. Choose it when the shoreline is the goal and you want a quick walk from the rainforest.

Palm fringe and rainforestAt the shore, palms fringe the sand while rainforest drops down the slopes toward the ocean.

At the shore, palms fringe the sand while rainforest drops down the slopes toward the ocean. Look along the beach toward the forested Cape Tribulation headland; it gives the walk its defining view. Pied imperial-pigeons migrate from New Guinea to breed and feed in the rainforest during summer, while humpback whales may pass offshore in winter. They are seasonal possibilities, not a promise.

Crocodiles may be present in these waters, and marine stingers can occur year-round, especially in warmer months. Do not plan to swim; follow the crocodile warnings and stay on the shore.

The start is a grassy day-use area with flush toilets and some sheltered picnic tables. If you want more rainforest, the separate Dubuji boardwalk is a 1.2 km circuit that takes about 45 minutes, passing lowland rainforest, a spring-fed creek and mangroves. The boardwalk reaches a wheelchair-accessible beach lookout; step-free access on the direct beach spur is not specified, so do not assume the spur itself is accessible.
