PK’s Jungle Village is a budget resort, hostel and campground on Cape Tribulation Road, with air-conditioned cabins and dorms alongside camping. It suits travelers who want the rainforest coast close by with a pool, bar and restaurant on site. The bar is a social hub, and music can run late, so this may not be your pick for a quiet night.
A short walk through rainforest and mangroves connects the property to the beach; visitors describe a boardwalk along the way. The drive north from Cairns crosses the Daintree River by ferry, then continues along Cape Tribulation Road.
