It’s simple, thoughtful, and exactly what you want in a coastal Alaskan basecamp.
The Huna Tlingit Tribal House anchors summer interpretive programs and storytelling that give real context to this place. If you’re here in season, plan around a program—it adds depth to the scenery.
This is an easy win for wildlife-curious travelers. Scan the shoreline and treetops for eagles and songbirds, check the water for harbor seals, and keep your eyes open for river otters. Bears do wander the area, so food storage rules aren’t just a suggestion.
