This small stone park-entry sign stands at Pine Springs, in front of the park’s main visitor center, with Hunter Peak rising behind it. It makes a quick arrival photo if you’re already stopping at Pine Springs; it doesn’t need its own detour.
The official parking information is for the Pine Springs Visitor Center lot, which also serves the Pinery Nature Trail. I couldn’t verify a separate public pullout beside the sign, so don’t stop on the highway shoulder. The nearby center has a museum, park store, maps and restrooms if you want to make this a short visitor-center stop too.
The white sign has a mountain-shaped outline and sits on a low stone wall. Include the full marker with Hunter Peak behind it; that wider view shows the landscape around Pine Springs better than a tight sign-only crop.
