Sunset Amphitheater is a small open-air stage with curved wooden benches beneath conifers beside Sunset Campground. The park uses it for ranger-led talks and campfires, usually in the evening, but the venue is seasonal and programs are occasional. Check the park's program calendar before making a special trip; between events, there is little to see beyond the stage and seating.

The settingRows of wood benches face a wood-framed stage and projection screen.

Rows of wood benches face a wood-framed stage and projection screen. A large-rock ring sits beside the seating for the campfire programs, with tall conifers enclosing the clearing. It is a compact place to listen and gather, not a scenic overlook.
