Medlands Beach is a small sandy stop between Torrent Bay and Bark Bay. It works best as a pause on the Abel Tasman Coast Track or as part of a boat-and-walk day, rather than a place to plan a full day around.
Walk in or arrive by boatA set of steps leads down from the Coast Track to the beach.
A set of steps leads down from the Coast Track to the beach. Scheduled water taxis also stop at Medlands Bay, so you can walk one way and ride the other; book ahead and confirm the pickup with your operator. Dogs aren’t allowed on the Coast Track.
