The usual operating windows are the May long weekend and mid-June through Labour Day, though dates can vary each year. Check the season’s dates and availability before planning a stay. The beach and lake are the main draw; the tradeoff is that privacy depends on which site you book.

A campground with lake access

Kearney Lake Campground is a developed, vehicle-accessible campground beside Kearney Lake on Highway 60 at km 36.5. Its 104 tent and RV sites and sandy swimming beach make it a good choice if you want lake time close to camp. Reserve early if a site near the water matters to you. Sites vary in privacy and spacing, so don’t assume every campsite feels secluded.
