About Abbott Lake
Abbott Lake is the calm, photogenic heart of the Peaks of Otter area, a 24‑acre impoundment with Sharp Top and the other Peaks rising dramatically behind it. A mellow, one‑mile loop circles the water, making this one of the Parkway’s easiest high‑reward walks—great views from start to finish without breaking a sweat.
