Two Angles in One Stop

There are essentially two vantage points within the same overlook. Wander to the south end of the parking area for an alternate composition that echoes nearby viewpoints, with Looking Glass Rock anchoring both angles. It’s an easy way to double your photos without adding drive time.

Name & Backstory

The name nods to historic, water-powered “pounding mills” once used by settlers to crush corn along local streams. Look for interpretive signage that adds a little context to the views.
