Trapp Family Farm is a small mixed crop-and-livestock farm on West Streetsboro Road in Peninsula. The public stop is the front-door farm stand, where you can pick up eggs and seasonal produce. The fields are accessed through scheduled public tours, so plan this as a quick stop for farm goods rather than an open walk through the operation.

Stock can sell out, so check availability before making a special trip for a particular item. Eggs and produce are the products visitors most often praise.

Why draft horses?Draft horses have powered field work here since the farm began in 2012.

Draft horses have powered field work here since the farm began in 2012. Founder Mark Trapp's plan took shape after a 2010 visit to horse-powered Essex Farm in New York. The farm is part of the park's Countryside Initiative, a lease program created to keep rural scenery and local agriculture in the valley.
