Guide
Noah Beach is a rainforest-backed shoreline on the Cape Tribulation coast, where the Daintree meets the reef. Keep it for the sand, open coast and forest in one view; it’s a good stop for a shoreline walk, but don’t plan a swim.
From the nearby campground, Noah Creek is about 1 km south along the beach. Walk that way if you want the creek mouth as well as the open shore. For a photo, include the creek mouth and the rainforest behind it; that shows what makes this stretch distinctive.
Queensland Parks warns that crocodiles may be present in water and dangerous marine stingers can occur in coastal waters at any time, more often in warmer months. Stay well away from the water’s edge.
