Swiftcurrent Motor Inn and Cabins is a 95-room seasonal lodging campus on Glacier National Park’s northeastern side, about a mile from Many Glacier Hotel. It combines motel-style units with small circles of rustic cabins. The draw is practical: stay in the Many Glacier area and keep meals and supplies close at hand. The inn has been here since 1933. Check current season dates before planning around a stay.
Choose your room with careThis isn’t one uniform hotel.
This isn’t one uniform hotel. Some cabins have private bathrooms; others use shared bath and shower facilities within walking distance. Rooms without private bathrooms have sinks with cold running water. Guest reports vary on room condition and noise, so expect rustic lodging. Cooking isn’t allowed in or around the rooms, and pets aren’t allowed indoors apart from designated guide, service, or hearing companion animals.

The inn is a base for trails toward Swiftcurrent Pass, Iceberg Lake, and Ptarmigan Lake. The Ptarmigan Tunnel route adds a 183-foot passage built for horses and hikers. From Babb, the approach continues about 12.8 miles into the park, past the Many Glacier Hotel turnoff.
